Three Keys

Where the defining sounds of the South — jazz, the blues, bounce and rock ‘n’ roll — share the stage.

About

Found inside Ace Hotel New Orleans, sidled just off the lobby, Three Keys is a venue for any and all in search of a dose of the city’s spellbinding electricity. It’s a magnet for New Orleans’ most welcoming cultural emissaries and a place to invite a date, a parent, a best friend, a stranger or simply to take yourself when the mood strikes. The nights here are improvisational and best sipped slow to really prolong the magic; it lives in the fingertips and putting them to horn (or drum or key or string or any music maker really) is the best way to coax it out — the full spectrum of emotion in a split second. It’s a place to pay attention, not in a schoolmarmish sort of way, but with a focus on the moment, the body, the feeling, the soul. It all could change at the drop of a note because there’s no right way to do things when you’re furnishing the future.

Essentials

The annual weekender of music, art and culture, Essentials is our celebration hosted alongside Essence Festival. We pack the house with live shows, artist talks and special guests to heighten the one-of-a-kind magic that sweeps through the city every year.

Cake

Cake is our multi-day extravaganza during Southern Decadence, featuring radical, inclusive, dynamic and decadent events. We tip our parasols and flourish our fans in celebration of the glorious misfits who rebelled and reveled in New Orleans and invite you (and yours) to do the same.
